CH 221 "What's Due This Week" Schedule for Fall 2026

All assignments can be found on our website and in the Chemistry 221 Companion.
The class textbook is free and available here.
Sections L1, L2, L3 and L4 must bring a printed copy of the lab on the specified day, then turn it in on the deadline stated on the first page of lab. Problem sets and labs will be turned in during recitation in AC 2501 (AC 2607 for section L2); quizzes and exams will be completed during class time. Emailed assignments in PDF form will incur a four point penalty, no exceptions.

10 11/23 - 11/27 Happy Thanksgiving! L1 meets on Monday at 9 AM, L2 does not meet on Tuesday, no labs for any section
     
11 11/30 - Due: Problem set #6 Chapter 6 and Chapter 7 Part I; Take: Seminar Self Quiz #6 and Quiz #6 in Recitation
  12/4 Due: Post Class Presentations Assignment in recitation
    "Net Ionic Reactions " (Lab #6) due next week at the time of your Lecture Final
    All late work is due and all extra credit closes Friday, December 4 at 9 AM
     
12 12/7 - Students must complete a Lecture Final and a Lab Final in class this quarter. Check the tentative dates and times below (check with your instructor for the actual times.)
  12/11 Section L1: Take the Lecture Final on Wednesday, December 9 at 8:45 AM in AC 1303. Due: Net Ionic Reactions lab. Take the Lab Final on Monday, December 7 at 1:10 PM in AC 2501.
    Section L2: Take the Lecture Final on Tuesday, December 8 at 8:30 AM in AC 2607. Due: Net Ionic Reactions lab. Take the Lab Final on Thursday, December 10 at 8:30 AM in AC 2607.
    Section L3: Take the Lecture Final on Wednesday, December 9 at 1:10 PM in AC 2607. Due: Net Ionic Reactions lab. Take the Lab Final on Wednesday, December 9 at 3:20 PM in AC 2501.
    Section L4: Take the Lecture Final on Friday, December 11 at 1:10 PM in AC 2501. Due: Net Ionic Reactions lab. Take the Lab Final on Friday, December 11 at 3:20 PM in AC 2501.
