This page allows practice on the fundamental calculations for solutions of slightly
soluble salts.
When you press "New Problem," the name of a chemical species will appear
in the first cell and a value in one of the other cells. You must fill the remaining
empty four cells correctly. When ready, press "Check Answer". Results appear
in
the
second table. Molar Sol. is how many moles of the compound will dissolve per liter. Gram Sol. is how many grams of the compound will dissolve in 100mL of water. [cation] and [anion] are the molarities of the cation and anion in the saturated solution. Pressing "Show Answer" will cause the correct answer to appear and you will no longer be able submit an answer for that problem.
